When I was a kid, getting home after football on a wednesday in time to be ready for Star Trek: The Next Generation
was a constant battle with my non Trekkie mates. Even worse was that we ate dinner as a family and had to wait till dad got
home and eat at the table! "The table? But mum, The Borg are coming!!! Resistance is futile, I'm watching it in front of the
TV!" It never worked. Then came Deep Space Nine, the criminally underated Voyager which I adore, Babylon 5 and recently
the magnificent rebirth of one of the alltime greats; Battlestar Gallactica. I do hope they get Dirk Bendict in for a cameo
though, his Face may be fifty years younger than the rest of him but charisma never dies.
Here we celebrate the great and the good as well as illuminating some of the more questionable efforts to grab the sci
fi audience, Seven Days anyone?? Sit back and chill, Sci Fi on TV has arrived.
